| Barracuda is king these months as the water cools
during the winter. Sharks also roam the flats now. Permit, tarpon and bonefish available on
warmer days. Good time for the beginner or novice spin fisherman. |

February through June |
Tarpon rule as the dominant species here with
permit, bonefish and cobia intermixed early in this time frame as the
water begins to warm up. Good time for the novice to experienced spin
fisherman and fly fisherman.

April - May - June
|
Prime tarpon time with an abundance of the
migrating silver kings in and around all channels, flats and bridges.
Excellent time for the intermediate to advanced fly fisherman on the
flats skiff or all levels of spin fisherman on the T-Craft.

as early as 6 to 12 months in advance!

July through November |
| Some of the best bone fishing during this time
along with permit and baby tarpon. Pre-dawn departures are the norm to
find "tailing" bones and "rolling" tarpon. Good time of year for the
intermediate to experienced fly fisherman or spin fisherman. |
